"Things we wish we could make better"

1. We are not on princes or the royal mile so there is about a mile to walk or travel to get there.
2. We are a Victorian house so the rooms are not large, but they are not pokey either.
3. Our ensuites are small, we would love to make them bigger but then there would be no space for your luggage or chairs.
4. Some of the team working here are from overseas and don’t speak perfect English yet although all our English is good enough and we have Scottish staff too who can always be contacted if there is a difficult question to be answered.
5. The rooms at the front of the house can be a little noisier than those at the back with traffic, although there is not much traffic at night times.
6. Room 9 has a large window but not much of a view so if a view is important please request to not have this room. However it does have the biggest ensuite!! And is in the quietest location.
7. We only have 2 private parking spaces and we only reserve these for physically impaired guests. There is free street parking on all the side streets around aarajura at all times and on the actual road right outside from 6.30pm to 8.am Monday to Friday, 1.30pm Saturday right through to 8am Monday is also free right outside.
8. We serve breakfast from 7.45 to 8.45. These times seem over the years to have been the most popular. If you like a longer lie we can bring continental to your room. If you like to rise earlier we serve continental from 7.30 or often we can leave you a breakfast tray the night before if you have an early flight.
9. Our check out is 10.00am this is because we are generally full everyday and we need an hour per room to service it so it is impossible for us to have it at 11 like the big hotels do.
10. We can’t store your luggage on departure as there is no where to keep it completely safe but we do explain to you where the luggage storage lockers are in town so it is very easy for you to put your bags in there for the day.
11. We wish we had more rooms then we wouldn’t have to keep turning guests away when we are full!!
